&nFrame this at a time with several shootings
I understand the 1st amendment thing however:
#1 Placing an operation or Lives on the line after this was discovered would be ill advised. If you were law enforcement you may want to look into this to at least evaluate the validity of the rant.
Some questions that need to be asked are:
Is this a valid threat?
Does this person have the capability to pull it off.
Has he purchased a rifle lately?
Does he have a past?
Do others have a past that he is hanging around this person
Does he visit hardware stores often for supplies?
Does this person hang online with known terrorists, gang members or others that may be inspired to act?
At no point were his 1st amendment rights questioned.
Can you imagine if President Trump used the same words on the 6th of January?
Can you imagine if law enforcement knew about this and did not act to at the very least and he was the perpetrator in a shooting?
Checking his social media is not even close to illegal. Cross referencing friends and associates is not either.
So at this point I know really nothing about this person except he is talking about burning law enforcement alive in their cars. And who his online people are.
You have heard the cries after such incidents “we should have seen the signs…” Well, these are the signs of someone that may do what they speak.
